Sabres mute, Miller optimistic

The Buffalo Sabres have not revealed much regarding the injury to Ryan Miller.  Miller is hopeful that the sprain is minor, and that doctors and trainers will have him on the ice as quick as possible.

With a high ankle sprain, a player, especially a goalie, has to be 100% before they can play again.  There is no bringing him back early from this one.

In the time being, Patrick Lalime will start in net, and Jonas Enroth will back him up.  The Sabres management has faith in their goaltenders, and have only eight days to decide whether or not they need to try and bring in another goaltender, with the trade deadline just over a week away.
