Sabres hold on for one more day

The Sabres beat the Leafs last night in order to hold onto the hope of a post season berth. Tonight they will continue to live on that string of hope as they hope to beat a Carolina Hurricanes team who is 9-0 in their last 9 starts, and are coming off a 9-0 whooping of the Islanders.

At the same time the Sabres face off against the Hurricanes, many eyes will peer towards the out of town score board, as the Rangers take on the Flyers. For the first time in a long time, more people in Buffalo will be rooting for the Flyers to win, and win in regulation. If the Rangers can sneak into overtime against the Flyers tonight, or even start to take control of the game, it could deflate the Sabres on the ice in Carolina, cuz a mere point puts Buffalo out of the race.

Lets hope the Sabres can hold on for one more night. The more times I get to write that, means the more hockey we will see.
