Change not going to come from management

For anyone looking towards change for next years Sabres team, some of the same old same old will be back.

Lindy Ruff will be back for a 12th season behind the bench, and Darcy Regier will be once again pulling the strings from above.

With that in place, let us hope the wheels are turning in several heads on ways to make this team better – through the edition of new players, and the elimination of a lot of dead weight that has been hanging around the Sabres locker room.  Hopefully the disgust of being the first team in the history of the league to miss the playoffs in two consecutive seasons after winning the Presidents trophy will make players who want to win demand more from their front office.

Im looking forward to having Ruff back as head coach of this team, as long as he can be given different tools to try and win with.  If he is given the same old players who don’t listen to him, I’ll be a happier fan not watching them next year.
