Final part of Aud to come down

In a ceremony today, a time capsule from 1939 will be opened, just prior to the final work in bringing the last corner of the Memorial Auditorium to the ground.
Once the site of many fond memories of concerts, basketball, hockey, soccer, and lacrosse, will now be a vacant lot until developers can decide what to do with the site. I expect many people to be down by the Aud, to give one last farewell to an old friend.
