Sabres stay undefeated on road

The Buffalo Sabres used the odd periods to book end a 4-1 beating of the New Jersey Devils.  The way the game started it looked like the Sabres offense was going to blow the game away before it started.  After netting two quick goals by MacArthur and hometown boy Tim Kennedy, the Sabres were unable to beat Martin Brodeur for quite some time.

Andy Greene was the only Devil able to solve Miller, beating the goaltender on a power play.

Sloppy play almost cost the game for the Sabres, but capitalizing on New Jersey mistakes the Sabres were able to put it away, and add a late insurance marker themselves.

The boys in blue and gold now return to HSBC Arena after having cruised to a 3 game winning road trip, capturing six points and further padding their lead on the Northeast division.

The Sabres return home for a Friday night matchup with the rival Leafs, who are the worst team in hockey this year.

The biggest story leading into the Toronto game is whether or not top prospect Tyler Myers will be in a Sabres uniform or if he will once again don a Rockets jersey.  Many believe he has proven himself time and time again over the last nine games, but this is a Sabres organization that loves to do it their way regardless of how they are percieved.
