The Sabres continue their season long road trip. Their last time out was the first time they lost, hell didn’t even get a point in over a month.
Tonight they will look forward to getting over the doldrums of the first period, that put them down 4-0 against Anaheim. What the Sabres need to be thinking about was the effort they put out in Pheonix, and ignore what happened in Anaheim. It is an 82 game season, you can’t win them all, and when your winning as often as the Sabres are – you definitely don’t want to dwell on the losses.
Ryan Miller looks to help his team get started on the right foot, taking his rightful place in the crease to start the game. He was supposed to have Tuesday night off – but he does love to play. We will see what that does to his game in April.
Tim Connolly looks to improve on his career high, and active longest scoring streak in the NHL at 13 games.
A full healthy roster will see the same lineup save for one change, Ellis and Kennedy will switch spots.
Faceoff is 10:35.
