Ok, quick Sabres fans, check your pulse……ok good were all still with it.
It what seems to be the most boring and dull off season in hockey history (or at least what I can remember) what has there been news worthy to talk about?
Ilya Kovalchuck? Honestly though, unless you follow the Devils (they might not admit to it, but some people actually do) or your name is Ilya Kovalchuck that got old before he signed that ridiculous contract and got the hockey world and the media roped into that circus. Reports are now that his agent has given the NHL 48 hours to make a decision, I think I just threw up in my mouth.
So that brings me back to the more serious question of – what did the Sabres do this off season? It has really been mind numbing – and has allowed my mind to wander to close to Buffalo Bills territory for my liking.
So as I allowed Rink Side Rants to draw me back into the world of hockey, I had some closing thoughts on the Buffalo Bills this season. If your a Bills fans you remember the good old days of Jim Kelly where Bills stood for one thing:
Well, for the last 10 years, the Buffalo Bills have attempted to change that image, and I think this year they might successfully overshadow the great AFC giants of the 19903.
It fits doesn’t it?
Ok, enough already, 23 days from now training camp starts!
