The Ottawa Senators could have probably not asked for a better opening night opponent. Last season the Sens outscored the Sabres 20-14 en route to winning 5 of 6 games against the Buffalo Sabres.
Its opening night, so the Sabres are expecting a full roster, no injuries. The Sens, could be without Spezza, battling a groin injury and Filip Kuba, out with a broken leg.
If the Sabres can manage to make the games against Ottawa this year more competitive and win more than one, this is a hot series to watch this year, as they Sabres look to defend their title of Northeast Division title, and the Sens look to continue to improve. Lets hope the banner raising of tomorrow night isn’t on the mind of the Sabres tonight. Put a tick in the W column and start out on the right foot!
