Sabres Gamenight: Chicago Blackhawks

It hasn’t been pretty in Chicago lately, as the defending Stanley Cup champions are winless in the 2010-2011 campaign.  Don’t count them out just yet, hell its only been two games.
The Buffalo Sabres are going to try and make it three games tonight, as they host last years best team on ice.  Brian Campbell won’t be able to wave his ring around Buffalo – he didn’t make the trip because of a knee injury.

Playing in the Sabres favor tonight is the Blackhawks starting goaltender, Marty Turco will be sitting in favor of rookie Corey Crawford – who hasn’t appeared in but 8 NHL games, tonight will be his first of the year.

Patrick Kane has been pretty quite this season, but a rowdy south Buffalo crowd might be what he needs to get going.  Either way, it should be a great time downtown tonight.

Derek Roy and Tyler Ennis are leading the team in scoring up front, joined by Leopold from the blue line.  Again, were two games in, but the scoring is only coming from three people, and that needs to change.

The puck drops tonight at 7.
