A Loss to Believe In?

The Buffalo Sabres have lost their fifth straight game to the Chicago Blackhawks.  The sixty minutes the Sabres put together tonight were probably the best three periods of hockey the team has put together since the start of the season.

The Sabres still only have three points, but we were left scratching our heads less and less with this game, as the Sabres fought until the end.  I mean hell, the Chicago Blackhawks are never out of a game – it doesn’t help that our power play still sucks, and Tim Connolly is still on this team.

Not the revenge filled game that I thought it was going to be; but then again neither team had anything but winning the hockey game on their mind, which was fine with me.  It turned into one hell of an entertaining night.

Losing to the Chicago Blackhawks doesn’t hurt so bad, despite being on the long losing streak the Sabres are on, especially knowing that it looks a lot better on the ice than it did just last night.
