September 11 – it used to be a normal day. For ten years living near an airport and being directly effected by the events of that fateful day, and I look to the sky and think of that one horrific period of time in American History. The focus of this article however is not history, but the future, as the Detroit Red Wings are on the clock for Fansided NHL 30 teams in 30 days.
Last season the Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings met once last year, and the Sabres were able to pick up a point in the contest, losing in overtime. This year the Red Wings come into Buffalo on December 2nd for the only contest of the year between these two teams in Buffalo, the Sabres take a trip to Joe Louis Arena in January to face off against the Wings on their turf.
Our Senior Editor Monica McAlister highlights what the Red Wings have going for them this season as the clock counts us out of September and into the regular season.
