Sabres Preseason: First Five & Terry Pegula’s Impact

One cannot deny that the Buffalo Sabres as a team have had a completely different outlook on after Feb. 22 of last year. Terry Pegula has changed this team’s thoughts on winning immediately after buying the team from Tom Golisano earlier this year.

An active offseason adding on defenseman Christian Ehrhoff fresh off his Stanley Cup Final loss with the Vancouver Canucks, tough guy defenseman Robyn Regehr, and forward Ville Leino formally with the Philadelphia Flyers. With, all this additions he also dropped $5 million on renovations to both home and visitors locker rooms. Along with revamping the concessions and “deslugging” the entire arena.

After tonight the Buffalo Sabres are 4-1 in the preseason. Dropping tonights game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. To just prove how hockey crazy this city is; the 2 home games were sell outs and we are only in the preseason. October 8th cannot come soon enough for this Sabres fan I know im only echoing the words of a city. It’s been too long for this city to not see an owner who is on the same page as the fans and wants a Cup for the Sabres. So, every Sabres game I want to hear First Niagara Center deafening loud!! Come on Buffalo I know we can bring the noise. Go Sabres, Go Bills. LETS GO BUFFALO!!!!
