Despite being only 45 to 90 minutes away depending on how you drive, for many Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Americans fans, the reunion of the two teams after a brief hiatus has been touted as a good hockey move. The only way you are going to get an argument is if you try to make a comment to the contrary.
For many Buffalo Sabres fans however, the close proximaty of the Rochester Amerks is the only thing that is close, as many Sabres fans have never made the pilgrimage to the War Memorial to see the prospects play in the AHL.
Stadium Journey has a remedy for that. Check out the outsiders review of the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial, where correspondent Dennis Morrell has given us an inside look at every aspect of the Sabres AHL franchise’s arena. I have never myself been to the War, but his article has given me the urge to make it up their for a game in the very near future.
If your planning a trip to a stadium in any sport for the first time, either college or pro, be sure to check out Stadium Journey and see if they have been there and reveiwed the stadium, it make help your decision on where to buy tickets.
