Every Friday – I am going to feature five different Fansided sites and a great story from their staff of writers from the week. Enjoy the reading!
This week we are going to take a look at our division rivals. Since their are only four other teams in the division, I will offer a link up from our Bills site as well.
How do you solve a problem like Stevie Johnson? Well the Buffalo Bills have bigger issues than just Stevie Johnson, and it is their lack of depth at the wide reciever position. Check out Brad Andrews decision maker article on the BLD.
If there is one team I hate the most in the National Hockey League it is the Boston Bruins. Yes, I hate them the most despite rooting for them in the Stanley Cup Finals last year. As much as I hate them, I did not want to see the Vancouver Canucks win the Stanley Cup. Just didn’t want that to happen. Well I got my wish last summer as the Bruins defeated the Canucks, and then got to see the Canucks exact revenge in a game that was worth two points and not 35 pounds of glory and year long bragging rights in one of the mose exciting games all year.
If the Buffalo Sabres fans are holding on tight for a trade to shakeup and rebuild the organization, it must come harder to swallow as the Montreal Canadiens have started to do that, with Cammalleri the first domino to fall. It didn’t help the case for Cammalleri that he called the Canadiens a bunch of losers – and I don’t think anyone wearing Blue and Gold would ever do that (even though Derek Roy acts that way). How much more active will Montreal be this year? Will it work for them? Sitting in last place in the division it can’t hurt to try something.
It’s not fair to just look at one side of the game – so check out Myles recap of the Leafs shutout of the Sabres. Hopefully reading this will help energize the Sabres fanbase heading to the First Niagara Center tonight and will add momentum to a team in desperate need of a win, and a loud home crowd might help that. Of course, then we have to hear the obnoxious “Go Leafs Go” chants throughout the game – so if your a Sabres fan and headed to the game tonight, be loud and be proud – even if you have to fake it like your ex-girlfriend did.
Remeber back to the beginning of the year? We were good, Ottawa sucked? Oh how the times have changed. My friend and partner up in Ottawa wonders if the Senators Have Silenced the “Yeah…But’s?” Until the modern version of the Ottawa Senators wins something in the post season, I think there will be plenty of yeah buts, but you can’t deny that the Senators are sitting only three points behind the Boston Bruins.
