Pominville Avoids Being Chosen Last

The NHL’s All-Star Fantasy Draft just wrapped up from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, and Buffalo Sabres fans watching the telecast from their living rooms had to wait 80 minutes before their All-Star right-winger, Jason Pominville, was finally selected.

Team (Daniel) Alfredsson made Pominville the 3rd last pick of the night (robbing the Sabres All-Star of a chance at a new car-given to the last player standing), but gave him quite an introduction and honor by saying he had “a lot of respect for him”, while also mentioning the overtime, playoff series-clinching winner Pominville scored against the Senators.

You deserve to be there, Jason. Congrats.
