The Buffalo Sabres close out October with a game against the Boston Bruins at the TD Bank Garden.
The six game series against the divisional foe continues in Boston on December 1, 2012 before the teams alternate home games in 2013. The Sabres host on January 9, while the Bruins host the first of a home and home series in Feburary on the 6th, the teams return to Buffalo on the 8th, before closing the season series out on April 13th, 2013.
With the Buffalo Sabres increasing their on ice presence this off season, the Boston Bruins will not seam like the big bad Bruins and will start to look just like another hockey team in the NHL. For a couple of seasons, there were games where it looked like the Bruins were just overpowering the smaller Buffalo Sabres team.
Last season the teams split the series up with close games, shootouts, and blowouts. The Buffalo Sabres ended the season with two wins, two losses, and two loser points.
I would anticipate that if John Scott makes it into a blue and gold sweater this year, you can tab one of these six dates as the ones you will see him on. Count on seeing him in October as the Buffalo Sabres are going to want to feature all their muscle – just so they can show teams like the Bruins that they have a force they can send out now – and they will respond to further instances where players take liberties with those wearing the logo of the Buffalo Sabres.
Check back with us tomorrow as we feature the Phoenix Coyotes as they make a trip to First Niagara Center this year.

I'm a wear white at home, blank sweater wearing fan, non laces type guy. I can't see spending money on a sweater with a guys name on it when he might not be around long enough to wear it out. If I am going to get a name on a sweater, its gonna be an old white home sweater, with either an 11 or a 7 on it.
