Buffalo Sabres 12U Hockey Tryouts

Lots of kids do it -playing street hockey wearing the color of their favorite hockey team and scoring the game winning goal to win the Stanley Cup.  There are probably countless homes of Buffalo Sabres fans who have several imaginary Stanley Cups lining the walls of their man rooms or play rooms as young hockey stars emulate their favorite hockey players.

Well now the younger Buffalo Sabres fans have their chance to walk in the same shoes as Buffalo Sabres favorites Thomas Vanek and Nathan Gerbe.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced the dates for the prestigious 12U hockey tournament held annually in Quebec.  Two tryouts will occur in September, on in Buffalo on September 10th, and one in Rochester on September 12th.  Recognized players will be invited to a second tryout as the Buffalo Sabres try and compete in the oldest and most prestigous pee-wee hockey venue.

If you know an interested kid, pass the information on to them, and hopefully with their parents approval and help – they can register for the event here.

Good luck to all attendees – make WNY proud!
