With the rush of moves this past week of teams cramming players into the AHL and Juniors and such, many young stars and future stars of the league are out of the pros for the time being. Before many of them had a chance to decide whether to go to Europe, the decision was made for them. However, one player avoided this and is headed to the Swiss League.
Tyler Seguin, young stud of the Boston Bruins, who just signed a six year, $34 million dollar extension, has signed with the EHC Biel in Switzerland. His deal with Biel is in place for the duration of the work stoppage.
In 2011-12, his second NHL season, Seguin led the Bruins in goals (29) and points (67), and was second in the League with a plus-34 rating.
