The Buffalo Sabres can only hope that when the NHL resumes operations when CBA talks resume and the sides untrench, that he will be a stalwart on a potent defense that helps the Blue and Gold reach the promised land and bring home a Stanley Cup.
Brennan is currently leading all AHL skaters in points, and by default he is the leading defensive point getter as well.
Brennan is not alone when it comes to putting points on the board. Despite having an off night – Marcus Foligno and Cody Hodgson are in second place in league scoring, and Hodgson’s eight assists are a league high.
