Rochester Americans PreGame Skate: Grand Rapids Griffins

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

The Rochester Americans are back at it tonight to faceoff against the Grand Rapids Griffins.

With the NHL Lockout reaching legal proportions, the AHL relief could be the only fans get through next season.

The Griffins host the Rochester Americans in the final battle of the season between these two teams at the Van Andel Arena.  The Americans squeeked out a 4-3 victory the last time these two teams met back on October 19th.

While Marcus Foligno continues to lead the Rochester Americans in scoring, T.J. Brennan has to be looking at the net on a night like tonight.  He scored three of the four Rochester goals during the last meeting the the Detroit Red Wings farm club.

After skating through Detroit’s prospects tonight, the Rochester Americans are off again until Friday when they host the Baby-Sens in the first game of a home and home series.  That game will be televised on Time Warner Sports Channel.
