Sabres Sell 31,000 Tickets

The lockout does not appear to have harmed the Buffalo Sabres, nor their rabid fanbase.

The team announced that 31,213 tickets were sold yesterday in a 24 hour period held for Season Ticket and Mini-Pack Ticket holders. Other than the 2008 Winter Classic, this is a record for the Sabres. The renewal rate for season tickets hit 99%, and there are still over 3,000 people on the waiting list for season tickets.

Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow at 10am. Tickets can be purchased online at Sabres.com and Tickets.com, via telephone at 1-888-223-6000, and in-person at the box office at First Niagara Center.
