Adam Pardy Returned to Rochester Americans

Adam Pardy has left the Buffalo Sabres, easing the logjam on the blue line for now.

Pardy was called up from Rochester to help out a blue line that was suffering from injuries to Christian Erhoff, Andrej Sekera, and Robyn Regehr.

In one game with the parent club, the Buffalo Sabres defenseman had one point, and two penalty minutes.

It is surprising to see that Pardy is sent down, given the struggles of Jordan Leopold and Tyler Myers.

Fans would have loved to have seen one of those two sitting in the press box reevaluating what motivates them.

Tyler Myers played some of the best hockey we have seen out of him this year when he was paired up with the veteran utility defenseman.  I would anticipate seeing Pardy back in Blue and Gold at some point – either through injuries or necessity of a change in scenery on the blue line.
