Lost in the shuffle of trade deadline day, Kevin Porter has been given honors of a third start by the National Hockey League.
With his performance agianst the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the fact that he has been a steady presence for the Buffalo Sabres since his callup under interim head coach Ron Rolston, the honor is deserving.
In the Buffalo Sabres slightly historic win over the Pittsburg Penguins, Kevin Porter scored two goals, one shorthanded, and the other off a deflection. The Sabres went on to defeat the Penguins 4-1.
Congrats Porter, and continue the good work.
