If you are holding on to hope for the playoffs, the Buffalo Sabres sent a clear message with Jhonas Enroth and company only allowing one goal all weekend – “Don’t Stop – Believin’”. Are you still on the playoff’s or bust wagon?

Terry Pegula realizes now that three years is/was an unrealistic timeline for the Buffalo Sabres to win a Stanley Cup.  From Fan to Owner in three years.  You know what though – if his words inspired the late season rush the year he bought the team to make the playoffs, then job well done Terry.  [ESPN].

Want to know a little bit more about the newest Buffalo Sabres defenseman Chad Ruhwedel?  He has made quite the impact since arriving in Buffalo and playing just two games for the Sabres.  [SB Nation].

Is Jhonas Enroth showing that he is a capable backup again – or is he giving the Buffalo Sabres a reason to consider him for the starting goaltender position next year, giving the team more confidence in moving long time netminder Ryan Miller this off season?  Enroth not ready for the prime time according to some, and I am inclined to agree, unless your just using it to bridge the gap between Miller and the goalie of tomorrow.  [Rant Sports].

How many surprises have you found in this year’s compacted NHL season?  USA Today points out five of the biggest surprises in the National Hockey League heading into the final weeks of the season.  [USA Today].

Think LA Kings of 2012! The Sabres squeek into the play-offs, and then turn up the physical play on a long-running streak to the CUP!

    (just kidding….)

Nice touch with the theme and video. For me either we end the the season in 5 games or 9 or more. I chose the latter. But then I could be dreaming again. Just get in is kind like “A Dollar and a Dream”. The chances could be the same too.
