Were not going to take all that talk that the season is over just because the out of town scoreboard offered zero help last night.  That’s right, were going to keep it going all the way to the end, to see if by some small shred of hope – we can sneak in as the eighth and final playoff team in the Eastern Conference.

Luke Adam isn’t upset over getting sent back down to the farm – and is looking forward to the AHL playoffs.  [The Telegram].

Stay classy Thomas Vanek, stay classy.  Rumors circulated like crazy yesterday that the dual team salute was the idea of none other than the Austrian Sniper.  Pretty good that the “adopted” sons of American hockey teams led the charge to unite the city of Boston.  [NESN].  Vanek speaks on it with the Buffalo News.  [TBN].

Tonight’s opponent didn’t do the Buffalo Sabres any favors by tossing the Florida Panthers out the door by the scruff of their kneck.  Cat’s always land on their feet don’t they? [CBS Sports].

A regulation loss tonight will eliminate the Buffalo Sabres from the playoff picture.  Enough said.  [Hockey Buzz].

The Islanders up and coming move could come sooner than later, and might involve some new threads.  [Puck Daddy].
