Well, folks, here it is: tonight is the end of the 2012-2013 season for Buffalo Sabres, who head into an offseason of uncertainty following their second straight failure to qualify for the playoffs.  Will tonight mark the end of Ryan Miller‘s career in Buffalo?  Will it be the end of Thomas Vanek‘s time spent wearing the blue and the gold?  The end of Ron Rolston’s tenure as the interim coach for the Sabres?  And could this finally be the beginning of the end for Darcy Regier as the Sabres’ GM?  So many questions, so little answers right now.

Love us or hate us, we sports writers like to look ahead to next season before the current season is even over.  Bleacher Report is no different, providing us with an early glimpse into some possible offseason storylines for the Sabres.

The end of the AHL regular season means the beginning of the 2013 Calder Cup playoffs for the Rochester Americans.  Here’s a recap of their regular season . . .

. . . and here’s a preview of their first-round match-up against the Toronto Marlies.

Not interested in the playoffs now that Buffalo has been eliminated?  Well, that’s just silly – but if you honestly feel that way, you should at least be looking forward to the 2013 NHL Draft.  Die By The Blade explains the changes that have been made to the draft lottery, which is set to take place on Monday, April 29.

Speaking of drafts, check out how the Buffalo Bills fared in the opening round of the 2013 NFL draft.  Then ask yourself, what the hell is wrong with Buffalo sports teams?!?

Thanks for visiting, and check back in with us as we prepare for  . . . The End!
