What to do, what to do?

With the Buffalo Sabres’ 2012-2013 season officially over, fans of the blue and gold will have to look elsewhere for entertainment (until the NHL draft, that is).  Today’s links provide some glimpses over our shoulders at the season that was, and some views toward what lies ahead.

Can’t read enough about Ryan Miller’s historic 500th game win last night?  Check out observations from Die By The Blade, and The Buffalo News - and don’t forget to read our thoughst here at Sabre Noise!

Alan Muir provides his 2013 NHL defining moments. . .

The Sporting News looks ahead to the playoffs with a stat you shouldn’t ignore this playoff season . . . and some you should!

TSN also looks ahead to the playoffs, but this piece is geared toward helping you dominate in your Playoff Pool!

Bleacher report ranks the five hottest teams headed into the playoffs – no frivolous discussion, if you remember the LA Kings of last year – as well as taking a look at which teams are the most banged up as the playoffs roll around.

And last, but certainly not least judging by all of the people who were checking their smartphones all night long last night while they should have been watching Miller and the Sabres, the NFL draft is still going on.  Take a look at who is still available, and watch the winners from Day 2 according to NFL.com

The Sabres weren’t exactly “entertainment” this year…..glad I’m a big- time baseball fan. I have plenty to watch. Hope the Sabres bring us a little more excitement next year. They can begin with a new GM and coach!
