Thomas Vanek To Round Two Of EA Sports Cover Vote

Round one is over, and the field is down to 32 players, one from each team, and a wild card winner from each conference.

For the Buffalo Sabres – Thomas Vanek will be representing. Does he have what it takes to get into the NHL Cover Vote for the honor to grace EA Sports NHL 14 release?

There is some stiff competition standing in his way.  Lets take a look at the rest of the division:

Craig Anderson – Ottawa Senators

Joffrey Lupul – Toronto Maple Leafs

P.K. Subban – Montreal Canadiens

Tyler Seguin – Boston Bruins

James Van Riemsdyk – Toronto Maple Leafs (wild card).

Representatives from the Atlantic Division:

Martin Brodeur – New Jersey Devils

Evgeni Malkin – Pittsburgh Penguins

Ryan Callahan – New York Rangers

Wayne Simmonds – Philadelphia Flyers

John Tavares – New York Islanders

The Southeast Division only boasts one playoff team, but has five strong candidates to grace the cover of the game:

Eric Staal – Carolina Hurricanes

Kris Versteeg – Florida Panthers

Niklas Backstrom – Washington Capitals

Victor Hedman – Tampa Bay Lightning

Evander Kane – Winnipeg Jets
