My, how time flies.

Scott Stewart-USA TODAY Sports

It seems like just a few days ago I was chomping at the bit as the 2012-2013 NHL season finally got underway.  Now, I am getting ready to follow the Stanley Cup Finals.  (I’d say “enjoy” the Finals, but Boston is playing.  Come on.)

Where can I send you readers today?  Bleacher report is always a good start, especially when they are providing you with a complete guide to the Stanley Cup Finals.  The folks at b/r also have compiled a position-by-position breakdown for the series – whew!

SI.com also breaks down the Finals match-up.  I can’t say I enjoy their prediction, however . . . but maybe I’m just bitter.

Not to be outdone, TSN throws five storylines to watch in the Stanley Cup Finals your way.  Anyone else think we’ll get sick of hearing about the original six by the end of these finals???

I have no idea what to make of this, but for those of you who are mildly curious, here are the results of every single game the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins have played against one another.  Don’t ask – but do read the comments!

A post over at Hockey Buzz that I actually recommend you check out is this one about Lindy Ruff and his ties to Western New York.

Here’s an interesting read: Montreal Canadiens’ goalie Carey Price, getting progressively worse as his career goes on?  That’s what his former goaltender coach says – check it out!

As always, I leave you with a post that is Sabres-specific, as Kevin Freiheit at Hockey Buzz muses on the future of some Sabres’ players.
