Daily Dasherboard: Father’s Day Edition

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Father’s day, all you hockey fan fathers out there!  It’s your day – treat yourself to something fun – maybe hit the links!  Don’t forget to do the trash on your way out . . . and the recyclables . . . and your lawn DOES look like it could use a mow today . . . plus the weeds are growing back . . . and now your wife is yelling that one of your kids broke a shelf that you need to fix . . . maybe you should just read today’s links and go back to business as usual!

Father’s Day came a little early last night for Boston Bruins fans, and hockey lovers in general.  Here is Bleacher Report’s analysis, including last night’s tweets and some video.

Those Bruins are a resilient bunch.  SI.com’s Brian Cazeneuve outlines why last night’s win by the Bruins is a good sign for them, and a not-so-good sign for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Daniel Paille scored the winning goal for the B’s last night. Remember how he used to be a member of the Buffalo Sabres? Yep.  Garth at Hockey Buzz reminisces on watching Paille, among other things.

As the 2013 NHL Entry Draft approaches, I take you back in time.  First, a look at the Sabres’ all-time greatest picks.

Last but not least, I leave you with an examination of the 2012 draft courtesy of Die By The Blade.

Make it a good one, dads!
