Welcome to the end of another monster of a work week!

Speaking of working (see what I did there?  Clever!), it would appear that Lindy Ruff is no longer unemployed.   Or is he?  What the hell is going on in Dallas?  Follow the saga of a team whose president spoke a wee bit too soon. Read the initial report here [Fort-Worth Star Telegram], and then hear about how it all became a comedy of errors here [Defending Big D].

Apparently, a lot of people involved in the NHL like to speak out prematurely, as Colorado Avalanche executive vice-president of hockey operations Joe Sakic did Wednesday when he told the world that the Avs won’t be going after Seth Jones.  Hmmmm.  Should we believe Sakic?  [Bleacher Report]

To get caught up on some of the discussions coming out of Buffalo, including a vision of what to expect trade-wise on draft day, head Garth’s way – he’ll take good care of you [Hockey Buzz].

Game 5 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals will be played tomorrow night.  Even though the series is tied 2-2, Sarah Kwak believes Chicago has reason to be concerned [Sports Illustrated].

You know who does’t have a reason to be concerned?  Fans of hockey, who are being treated to quite the epic postseason thanks to that wonderful invention that we like to call sudden-death overtime [Bleacher Report].  Enjoy the day, folks!
