Were now a little over twelve hours from the National Hockey League Entry Draft for 2013 – and many fans in many cities are getting excited.  Are you listening to the chatter on the Buffalo Sabres front?  Are you confident the team will be different and better come Monday morning?

Are the Pheonix Coyotes preparing to make their final draft selections before shipping off to another city?  Glendale’s last proposal leaves the team and the city at an impasse – and the ‘Yotes could be headed to Destination Unknown.  [USA Today].

Despite wanting to have no expectations for the Buffalo Sabres heading into tomorrows festivities – I am intrigued at the level of rumors and possibilities in this years draft.  [USA Today].

Mock drafts a plenty going around, and here are the final projections for what could amount to round one and two of the 2013 entry draft.  [Bleacher Report].

Are the Buffalo Sabres still really interested in Bobby Ryan now that they are in rebuild mode?  I have to think they would be – but probably not at the price that would knock the socks off of GM Bob Murray.  [The Fourth Period].

Ryan Miller is the best steal in a Buffalo Sabres draft in the last 20 years.  He could be the steal of the half century as well.  [Bleacher Report].

Is Ryan Miller trade worthy on draft day?  Who will he agree to go play for, and who will agree to take on his salary for one year if the team can move him?  [Yahoo Sports].

Still possible to move up?  Darcy Regier could have hit a snag in a bid to move out of the eighth spot to get a better player.  [Wall Street Journal].

Do the Carolina Hurricanes want to dance with the Buffalo Sabres?  Carolina holds the fifth spot and may be willing to jump back to eight.  Since there is not a huge jump there, maybe a good old fashion hockey trade, Stafford for Skinner, and the teams first round picks?  Buffalo may have to give up a late round pick to grease the skids but Buffalo could jump to number five on Sunday.  [Hockey Buzz].
