The weekend is over – hope it was kind to you!  I would hate to think that you’re sitting at your desk right now, regretting your decisions.  No one wants to start his week like that!

Don’t worry if you did beat yourself up a little bit, though – it’s nothing a cup of coffee and some hockey-related links cannot cure!   Let’s fix you up good!

Did you know that this weeks marks the 25th anniversary of the trade that sent Wayne Gretzky to the Los Angeles Kings?  Me neither!   Who has time to

remember stuff like that?  Well, apparently the folks over at TSN do, as they have dedicated the entire week to examining the famous trade.  Read this in order to see what TSN plans on doing this week, and be sure to head there every day this week!

Now that the conferences and divisions in the NHL have been realigned, the time is ripe for each division to actually assume an identity, according to Stu Hackel. [Sports Illustrated]

How would you like to work for the Phoenix Coyotes?  Tons of job stability there, eh?  Don’t worry: the team should be sold today before the midnight deadline hits. [The Sporting News] Sure – I’ll believe that . . . when I see it.
