Welcome to Autumn!

Wait – what do you mean it’s still summer?  Where I am, it’s 60 degrees and has rained nearly every day this week – that’s autumn, last I checked.

Whatever you want to call it , we’re still in hockey’s offseason.  One astute reader left a comment for me the other day: “Slow blog day.”   Yep.  That is why

Let’s see what links are out there on another slow blog day.

There’s a lot of debate about whether the Buffalo Sabres have a snowball’s chance in h-e-double hockey sticks of making the playoffs in 2013-2014.  Here’s a look at the favorites, dark horses, and longshots of the NHL next year.
