Buffalo Sabres fans, what is up this morning?

Please don’t answer, “the sky.”  Or, “the ceiling.”  Or any other smartie-pants answer that you think makes you sound funny, when really you sound like a smarmy, mouthy jerk who likes to make everyone feel a little insecure about talking to you.

Whoa.  That got serious quickly!  Guess my counseling sessions aren’t paying off yet.  Oh well – onto the links!

August has almost come and gone, and RFA Cody Hodgson remains unsigned.   There’s more to signing CoHo than meets the eye, however,  including how other teams are approaching their RFAs.  Take a look at how Derek Stepan’s situation with the New York Rangers could impact Hodgson’s situation.  [Hockey Buzz]

One more list today!  Being one of the top 10 players in the NHL isn’t all champagne wishes and caviar dreams, you know.  Nope – sometimes these players are haunted by their past mistakes.  Here’s a look at the moments that the top 10 NHLers probably wish they could redo. [Bleacher Report]

Finally: think playing hockey is difficult?  How about trying to play it with only one hand, huh?  Here’s a neat story about one such player who is taking a shot at living the dream! [Puck Daddy]   I wish this dude all the luck in the world.
