We are now just days away from the start of the Traverse City Tournament, where a fresh batch of prospects will try to defend the title from two years ago. Shortly after that the whirlwind of training camp begins, guys actually play hockey games (even though they don’t matter), spots are earned, and in just over a month’s time, regular season action occurs.
It seems like just yesterday we were mourning the loss of the regular season – and the playoffs seem like so long ago already.
