Ah another Monday is upon us as we welcome in another wonderful week. Why am I so cheerful about a dreaded Monday? We just finished the last weekend without any hockey as the Buffalo Sabres kick-off their pre-season next Sunday! Hockey is almost back and I for one am ecstatic.

Anyways, back to the Buffalo Sabres Trivia Challenge, yesterday’s question made a major splash as a lot of people tweeted in their answers. Thank you all for participating in the Sabres Trivia Challenge, there will be a standings post on Facebook later today.

Here’s the answer to yesterday’s question;

Q- Name all three members of the famous Buffalo Sabres “French Connection” line that played together for the Sabres from 1972 through 1979?

A- The famous “French Connection” line consisted of Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin and Rene Robert all of whom were French-Canadian.

Congratulations to everyone who answered correctly and on to the next question.

Q- Throwing it back to the first inaugural season- What place did the Buffalo Sabres finish in their inaugural 1970-71 season?

The question will be tweeted by @Hockeylife30 and you can either reply to those tweets, comment in this post or post on the SabreNoise Facebook page with your answer. Best of luck!
