Buffalo Sabres Trivia Challenge #11

Welcome back to the 11th edition of Buffalo Sabres Trivia Challenge. Isn’t it nice to wake up and know the Sabres are in action that night? It may only be pre-season but seeing the Sabres back in action is always exciting and helps reunite the passion so fans can get excited for the regular season.

I made a little mistake with yesterday’s Sabres Trivia question and I apologize for that. There were actually 6 players who scored on their first shift in blue and gold, not just 2. If you gave the name of any of the 6, then you were correct.

Q- Name 1 of 6 players who scored on their very first shift with the Buffalo Sabres. (If you name multiple you get bonus points)

A- Pat Lafontaine, Geoff Sanderson, Alex Mogilny, Danny Gare, Rob Ray and Denis Hamel all scored goals on their first shift with the Buffalo Sabres.

Today’s question

Which team drafted current Buffalo Sabres GM Darcy Regier in the 1976 amateur draft? Bonus: Where in the draft was he taken? (i.e. 1st- 100th overall)

As always you have two places to submit your answer to the Sabres Trivia question. Leave it as a comment below or tweet your answer to @Hockeylife30. Best of luck!
