Before tonight’s game I was talking about how Hodgson had been invisible and how he needed to step up his game, boy did he do that tonight. Hodgson scored a goal- the Sabres first powerplay goal, added an assist and led the team with 6 shots tonight. Hodgson definitely improved his game tonight and is beginning to show why he’s worth the money he was given.
Hodgson was all over the ice tonight and had his best game this season. While he was a complete dud during the overtime, by standing still and screening Enroth, without Hodgson the Sabres don’t even get a point tonight. Hodgson now has 1 goal and 2 assists on the season and is beginning to generate chemistry with Thomas Vanek.
