Welcome, Buffalo Sabres and NHL fans in general, to another fun-filled, link-loaded, content-crowded addition to your morning reads!

Or, if you prefer me to write like a normal person, welcome to today’s link dump!

(Sad to say, I still find it funny to type the word, “dump.”)

Off we go!

I’m sure you have all heard that Patrick Kaleta has been suspended ten games by the NHL (he plans on appealing).  I’ve written about his shenanigans before, and have argued that the Sabres don’t need him on their roster.  But what if he changed the way he played?  And what if – gasp! – Matt Cooke could help him?!?  [TSN]

TSN has its first set of NHL power rankings up!  Yes, Buffalo is last.  Deal with it!

Whether you like it or not, the Toronto Maple Leafs are clearly the cream of the Atlantic Division crop, what with their 6-1-0 start and the outstanding play they are getting out of their goaltender tandem of James Reimer and newly-acquired  Jonathan Bernier.  The question is, are the Leafs as good as their record suggests?  [Bleacher Report]

The Philadelphia Flyers are struggling to get anything going out of the gate – think they could use the services of a Mr. Thomas Vanek? [Kukla]s Corner]

Because, you do realize that the Flyers have been cursed a witch, don’t you?  [Puck Daddy] Yep.  That just happened.

Finally, the Sabres play Vancouver tonight.  Can they put together a little win streak?  Their confidence level will be key.  [Die By The Blade]

Enjoy, and check back in here for our game day coverage!  Go Sabres!
