San Jose has played a lot of hockey as of late – their last two contests going into overtime.  They have yet to face the Buffalo Sabres this season – and have been a relative buzz saw going through the Eastern and Western conferences seemingly at will.  Is this the year for the San Jose Sharks – or will their success fizzle before they have the chance to play for the Stanley Cup?  At home so far this year the Sharks are 5-0-1.

This might sound like lunacy but I think the Sabres might beat SanJose. Dunno why.. Probably because they are one of the top dogs out there and once in a while, the underdogs prevail.

I have the same feeling Dano. I think the San Jose games going to be very high scoring for both sides and very close.

I watch the Sharks all the time, they average the most SOG in the league at somewhere around 40 shots. If they can’t handle their top line of Thorton, Hertal and Couture, they will be in trouble because their other lines have been producing as well. Its as if they have 4 top lines right now. And don’t let me forget the DMen pitching in. Then if you stop all that you still have to get past Neimi. Although I doubt we will see Niemi.

The San Jose game will be a feeding frenzy, L.A. will be dethroned, and we will…quack the ducks? Sorry couldn’t come up with something funny for Anaheim lol
