19 he’s 6 foot 2, just under 200 pounds and already showing promise as a strong power-forward. He skates hard, forechecks hard, loves to hit people, works hard on the back check and goes to the dirty area’s where most young stars don’t want to go. The kid, simply put is a beast and he’s only going to improve in the coming years. He’s playing primarily on the wing of the second and third lines and has been generating tons of offencive chances. Girgensons has 3 points on the season and is still playing well despite being stuck on a rookie line for most of the season.

Girgensons is an exciting hockey player and will likely establish himself into a leader on this Sabres team in the future. He has the size and the skills to turn into a top notch power-forward in the league. The future is bright with Girgensons.
