Daily Dasherboard November 5, 2013

Good morning Sabres fans – how many of you are prepared for the long week of late night West Coast hockey games ahead of us?  I personally can’t

stand this week of hockey – even when the Buffalo Sabres are playing well.  The games just last to long into the night.  Ahh…I  must just be getting old.  Anyway – here is your daily dose of reading material from around the web.

The re-invention of Patrick Kaleta starts tonight as he suits up as a Rochester American for the first time since the 2007-2008 season.  [Rochester Democrat and Chronicle].

Whether he needs it or not – demoting Kaleta was not the right message to send to the Buffalo Sabres.  [Buffalo News].

GM Darcy Regier talks Buffalo Sabres and how he think the team is under the thumb of the NHL.  [NBC Sports].

Armia is close to joining the lineup – Buffalo may have no choice but to send Nikita Zadorov back to the OHL – they are just running out of roster spots for rookies trying to learn the game – even Joel Armia might not see blue and gold this year.  [WGR550].

The Buffalo Sabres lost a bad one to the Anaheim Ducks – but it feels a little better knowing the Ducks are first in the league? [USA Today Sports].

Keep it tuned here for all the same post game coverage you have come to know and either love or hate from the team here at Sabrenoise – just don’t be surprised if it is delayed a bit due to the late night games.

Zadarov does not belong back in the ohl he deserves a spot more than half the defenseman on the roster. And we should waive stafford or leino to make a spot for armia

The Sabres have scored 26 (Vanek’s old number) goals this season – the same total as the Rangers and Devils. I guess the Bermuda triangle starts in Western New York:)
