Tuesday November 12 vs Los Angeles Kings 7PM

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Will the Buffalo Sabres be more interested in cold revenge on Matt Frattin for his hit on Cody McCormick – or will his return hit in the third period coupled with the Tyler Myers fight be enough for the Buffalo Sabres who are still looking for their first home regulation win of the season.  Buffalo is 0-8-1 at First Niagara Center – and the party atmosphere of the Red Solo Cup for Sabres hopefuls is turning into more of a sad ballad called Blue Empty Seat.  Buffalo almost found success against the Kings – and will have to play a much smarter contest if they are going to have any success on Tuesday.  Penalties killed the Sabres in Hollywood – including Tyler Myers three minor penalties and a fighting major.

That’s the difference.  Their power play beat our penalty kill tonight.  Five on five, I liked our play but we didn’t get the job done.  –Buffalo Sabres Captain Steve Ott.

If the Sabres don’t lose their minds and focus on Frattin -  they might be able to get their first win at home.  Tuesday is Military Appreciation Night.  The Buffalo Sabres would like to offer all active, retired, and veteran members of the United States military discounted 300 Level II tickets.  Veterans can get the discounted $20 (regularly 46 dollars) tickets by visiting the Buffalo Sabres website or clicking the link here.
