Sabre Noise Podcast #7: Public Enemy

Oh, Sabre Noise readers – you let me down yesterday!

Whereas Colton Orr bravely flew through the air, Superman-like, to defend his captain, Dion Phaneuf, who apparently was in grave danger Saturday evening, none of you rushed to my rescue as hordes of angry Toronto Maple Leafs fans swarmed out of whatever hives they were living in to attack my writing yesterday afternoon.

And I thought you had my back.

I’m kidding, of course; I’m a big boy, and take my lumps when my writing has struck a nerve.  It was pretty amusing, however, checking into the site during my lunch and reading some of the things that were being said about me.    Some readers were nice enough to say, “No offense,” right before they swore at me, but most just went for the jugular.

What they forgot in all of the chaos was that, by attacking the site, they were actually supporting it with their visits!  So I thank my angry neighbors to the North for that much.

So – what’s new in this podcast?  I do touch on the reaction from Leafs fans – how could I not?  I also discuss ted Nolan’s decision to reassign Nikita Zadorov, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Mikhail Grigorenko.  Finally, I preview the two games on this week’s schedule for the Buffalo Sabres and throw out my two cents as to which games I think are winnable for the Sabres.

Enough from me – here’s the moment you have all been waiting for: the podcast!
