One of the teams sitting atop the NHL standings rolled into Buffalo for a match against the Sabres and it went about as well as one could have expected. Despite an early lead 10 seconds in from Tyler Ennis the Buffalo Sabres were outmatched and outplayed as they fell 4-1 to the Blues.

Ryan Miller was called upon to make 27 saves on 31 shots but couldn’t do enough to keep the Sabres in this one. This game only showed fans how far away the Sabres truly are from competing in the NHL.

Ennis is -8 for the season. That’s, by, far not the worst on the team, but it ain’t good. I still think he is too small for the NHL; he just get muscled off the puck too often.
