Five days off for the Buffalo Sabres between games is great for them to recharge their batteries, give Ted Nolan some time to get the

guys focused and energized – but for the fan of the team it sucks because there is absolutely no hockey to pass the evenings away.

It makes you wonder what the NHL is thinking though when they make their schedules, some weeks are so busy based on the “shortened” window of opportunity to play, then other weeks the games are sparse.

When the Buffalo Sabres picked up Matt D’Agostini off waivers – it was a good fit for a team rebuilding, and a player looking to get his game back.  [Sports Media 101].
