NHL Daily Dasherboard: Friday the 13th Edition!

Hey – it’s Friday, NHL fans!

This week came and went in a flash, and now I’m down to one more week of classes before I get a nice little week-and-a-half break for the holidays.  Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to cover a Sabres game from press row during that time, so be on the lookout for that announcement and make sure you follow me on Twitter during the game to keep my spirits up!

Enough about me (well, for now) – onto the links!

Scores!  Bring out your scores!  [TSN]

If you read me enough, you know how much I enjoy to read Kerry Fraser’s Hey Ref!  [TSN] This week, Fraser address the inconsistency in calling goaltender interference.

Calgary and Buffalo play tomorrow, and this is truly a meeting of kindred souls, as Calgary just canned GM Jay Feaster.  How big a mess does the franchise now have on its hands?  [Bleacher Report]

I picked the Anaheim Ducks to win the Stanley Cup this year.  Just now, other writers are starting to realize I’m a freaking genius.  Go here to see what I’m talking about, then bow down too my superior knowledge!!!!!  [Sporting News]

Sports Illustrated’s new power rankings no longer have the Buffalo Sabres listed at number 30!!! Moral victory!!  []  Oh, Thomas Vanek – you from from worst, to more worst.

Finally, it’s been a while since I visited this blog, but according to the author, the Buffalo Sabres should consider going after Joe Nieuwendyk in their search for a new GM.  [Hockey Buzz]  Sure, dude!

Have a great one!!!!
