Sabres - Jets: Fan Chatter

Buffalo Sabres fans, what is up with your bad selves today?

Another Tuesday, another game day.  The difference between tonight’s game against the Winnipeg Jets, and other games?  The Sabres are clearly evaluating the prospects they have in their system, as they have called Kevin Porter and Chad Ruhwedel up from Rochester and have sent Luke Adam, Brayden McNabb, and Mark Pysyk down to the Amerks.

Translation: don’t be expecting any wins, any time soon!

Uh, not that you were!

Of course, it’s not like the Jets are lighting up the Western Conference; they are sitting in dead-last in the Central Division with a 15-15-5 record, averaging around 2.5 goals per game and giving up nearly 3 (2.8, if you expect me to be exact).   As I’m sure you have figured out, every single statistic I just fed you in better than the corresponding stat from the Buffalo Sabres.  The Sabres are bringing “last place” to a whole-new level this year!

We won’t stop until we’re in the record books, baby!

Okay – questions to consider:

1. Besides Ville Leino, who scores tonight?  Because he IS going to score.

2. Tyler Myers: what will his +/- be tonight?

3. Final score?
