Sabres - Bruins: Fan Chatter for Game Two of the Home-and-Home!

Sabres fans, how good are you feeling about tonight’s game?

Personally, I don’t know exactly how I feel.  See, on the one hand, I feel optimistic about this team, based on the Sabres’ strong effort as of late and two consecutive come-from-behind victories, in which they scored four goals, no less.  That sort of play makes you think that the team may have turned the corner, and is going to spend the rest of the season being one hell of a competitive team.

On the other hand . . . these Sabres are still the team that Regier built.  They have not won three games in a row since 1985 – true story!  Or at least, that’s the story that I made up, since I am too lazy to do research right now.  Plus, the Sabres are the sort of team that someone like the Bruins take lightly, until they beat them, which only pisses off the superior team, resulting in a measure of revenge being extracted the next the two teams meet.

Yep – I have no idea what to think about this game tonight.  My only wish?  That it be close, entertaining, and contains a goal by Ville Leino.

If those three criteria are met, you’ll find me a happy man tomorrow!

Questions to ponder:

1. Who scores first this season: Ville Leino, or the new guy, Linus Omark?

2. Which team scores first tonight?

3. Final score!

The more I type, the better I feel about this game, so look for a wild prediction on my part below, and get in the conversation now!!!
